The Artwork is an ode to the artist’s dead mother, Virginia Mei, who before she died asked him not to cry but to rather “Let the dirt bury her!”. The artist is a post modern abstract expressionist, incorporating spiritual symbolism through colour, shapes and textures, inspired by personal experiences, literature and his anthropological research findings.
